James is identified as the father of Mary on her death certificate. Her birthplace is listed as Center Co. Pa. James and his family resided in Potter Twp. attending the Reformed Church at Tuseyville, Potter Twp., Pa. It is further believed that he is buried in Hunterton Co. Pa. which is perhaps his birthplace.

Proof of this family is documented in the deed selling his property after his passing, intestate. see 5.4.1. Note that this deed conflicts with the death certificate for David Glasgow (sr) ?

0.0.1.1.1. Mary Magdalena Glasgow Snyder (1.1.1)

Mary and her family are remembered by the family of Eve Taylor Bloom. For years, they attended the Glasgow Family reunion at Belfonte, Pa. County Fair Grounds, the first Sunday following the 4th of July. Mary is believed to have been a Nurse during the Civil War. She was a mid‑wife in Clearfield Co. and is credited with having delivered "half the county."

David and his family are well documented in the church records of the Tusseyville Emanuals Church. This is the family of Mrs. William Glasgo's husband of Center Hall. William and his brother Robert are children of David (sr) and Letty B. Kline.

This family and the family of Mary Glasgo Snyder are tied together through the "Glasgo Family Reunions" and associations. Robert Levi is remembered as having freequently visiting Sarah Jane Snyder (Taylor/McGarry).
